K N Gopinath comes with over 33 years of experience in the social sector, dedicated to strengthening organisations and advancing inclusive development. As the Executive Director of Dhwani Foundation, he leads the organisation’s strategic direction, growth, and impact while working closely with NGO leaders, federations, and ecosystem partners to build stronger and more accountable institutions. Before joining Dhwani, he served as Executive Director (Operations) at The Association of People with Disability (APD) in Bengaluru and as Managing Trustee of Motivation India, a subsidiary of Motivation UK, one of the leading international organisations in wheelchair provision. He has also developed innovative approaches that help grassroots organisations strengthen their processes, systems, visibility, and scale. Gopinath holds a postgraduate degree in Social Work and is a Certified Common Purpose Graduate.
