Helping NGOs build their brand, and fundraise effectively

The Nikhaar programme helps train grassroots NGOs on brand-building, communications, and fundraising. The programme also helps NGOs develop media collaterals and provide training and grants for resources.

In the last year, the Niranthara Karnataka batch NGOs have also gone through the Nikhaar programme.  Fundraising Managers (FRMs) were hired and joined their respective NGOs in December, 2020.

The Fundraising Managers and Leaders attended training on content creation, marketing strategy, organising campaigns, etc. Over the months, they attended sessions on 50+ different topics. They also attended sales skills training that covered important aspects of prospect interaction. They worked with mentors who helped them in organisation presentation and concept notes, and supported monitoring field interactions.

As part of the programme, we conducted an evaluation of presentation skills, through mock presentations and their overall performance through the programme.
